D. Buxton Services, Inc. has been in operation since October 1997, providing virtual assistance to a variety of business professionals and entrepreneurs. It is owned and operated by me, Deb Buxton. I have over 30 years of professional office and field experience, including holding positions as a secretary, electronics mechanic, engineering technician, and project team lead. I have a range of experience from equipment maintenance and acquisition to financial accounting, project management, and office administration.

I hold an Associate of Technical Arts in Electronics. I am proficient in a variety of office and graphic software programs, including the MS Office Suite, Quicken/Quickbooks, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. I type 100+ wpm.

I am highly motivated, accurate, thorough, and precise in my attention to details. I have excellent analytical and organizational skills. I am very competent in completing multi-faceted tasks within time constraints. I am skilled in interpersonal relationships and often praised for a can-do attitude. Plus, I just plain like working with a variety of people and learning new things.


My Equipment & Software

I run Macs in my office, including a desktop, laptop, iPad, and iPhone. Yes, I am a Mac fan, but am familiar with Windows. I do, however, only work with Mac-based clients.

I also have a variety of other office equipment for everything from binding to small run print jobs.

I run current MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and a variety of Mac-based software programs.
